The website “Latvian Language of Science” is public and freely available, easy to use on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. This website is a digital resource that will be useful for the planning and creation scientific texts at various levels of teaching, study, and research. It is intended for a wide range of users of the Latvian language of science, mainly pupils, students, teachers, lecturers, researchers, and other interested parties. The website offers descriptions of 40 types of scientific texts at school level, university and research. Each academic text description includes its title, a translation of the title into English, Russian and German, a concise explanation of the type of text, as well as a detailed description of its structure. The website also includes a glossary of 56 terms used in the scientific texts, such as research object, bibliographic reference, hypothesis, etc. There are also samples of phrases used in scientific texts, arranged, and classified to describe the introduction, main body, conclusion, as well as linking words and citation style.
