dc.description	Morphological Analysis and Synthesis Toolkit for Latvian and Latgalian is a set of Java libraries providing deterministic rule-based morphological analysis and synthesis for both Latvian and Latgalian, as well as a simple CRF-based morphological tagger for Latvian. It is packed together with Tēzaurs and LTG Tēzaurs lexeme lists (around 144,000 lexemes for Latvian and 7,000 for Latgalian) as its lexicon, and provides a web-service interface. The development for Latvian was started in 2006 by Pēteris Paikens, and is considered completed. The development for Latgalian was started in 2022 by Lauma Pretkalniņa, and it covers nominal parts of speech, as well as regular verbs. This toolkit is also available via Maven Central.
